Cairn Terrier x Toy Poodles:

Combining the robustness and tenacity of the Cairn Terrier with the intelligence and loyalty of the Poodle has given us a wonderful family companion. With low shedding coats these dogs should be good for people that suffer from allergies and are recommended for families young and old.

Coat: 

Cairnoodles will retain the non-shedding qualities of the Poodle they can have the scruffier coat of the Cairn but will still be low to no shedding.

Size: 

We expect Cairnoodles to get to approx.  5kg – 8kg and 30-40cm. 

Diet: 

Pups in this store are fed a fresh meat and quality dry kibble mixed minimum 2 x day. 

Exercise:  

Cairnoodles should enjoy going for walks and playing ball but adapt well to apartment living.

Personality: 

These pups should be personality plus and shouldn’t be wary of strangers. They also generally enjoy the company of other dogs.

Lifespan and health : 

The expected lifespan of a Cairnoodles should be between 14 and 17yrs. The major problems that can occur include PRA (early onset of blindness more common in Poodles) This is rare in Cairnoodle as the Cairn is amongst the most robust of all dog breeds.
