Cavalier King Charles Spaniels:

Cavaliers were originally bred as companion dogs, so it is little wonder that they have become one of Australia's most popular family dogs. Known for their beautiful temperaments they are tolerant of children and are especially recommended for families with little or no dog experience.

Coat: 

The Cavalier has a double coat with guard hairs protecting and waterproofing the softer thicker undercoat. The undercoat should be raked out to prevent matting and possible skin issues. 

Size: 

The Cavalier ranges in size between 30-35cm and 6.5-9kg 

Diet: 

Pups in this store are fed a fresh meat and a quality dry kibble mixed a minimum 2 x day. 

Exercise:  

Cavaliers will enjoy going for good walks and playing ball, they are an active breed but will also enjoy lots of time cuddling. They may become overweight if diet and exercise is not maintained

Personality: 

These pups should be personality plus and should not be wary of strangers. They generally enjoy the company of other dogs and do well when socialised early.

Lifespan and health : 

The expected lifespan of a Cavalier should be between 12 and 15yrs. The Cavalier is a generally healthy breed However, heart conditions (mitral valve insufficiency), patella luxation and hip dysplasia can be found.
