Labradors:

Robust, strong and faithful Labradors have long been Australia’s favourite dog. Adaptable friendly and loving, these wonderful companion dogs have been used for many services due to their trainability. Suitable for almost any family whether it’s for fun, companionship or guarding.

Coat: 

Labradors are single coated and come in three colour types: Black, Gold and Chocolate. The coat is easy to maintain with weekly brushing recommended to brush out the dead coat. As Labradors generally love water a quick wash should be a pleasant experience for dog and owner.  

Size: 

We expect these pups to get to approx. 28 to 40kg and 45-50cm. 

Diet:

Pups in this store are fed a fresh meat and quality dry kibble mixed minimum 2 x day. 

Exercise: 

Labradors will do best when given the opportunity to exercise well. They love a good walk and should enjoy playing retrieve with balls.  

Personality: 

Whilst these dogs are very sound like all dogs they can be apprehensive of strangers. They should be easy to train with firm control from day one. 

Lifespan and health : 

The expected lifespan of a Labrador should be between 10 and 14yrs. These are generally a very fit breed. Attention should be paid to their ears after playing in water and ensuring that their athletic frame doesn’t carry too much weight.
