Pomeranian puppies:
A highly intelligent breed that is responsive, and bright. The Pomeranian (also known as a Pom, Pommy or Pome) is a breed of dog of the Spitz type that is named for the Pomerania region in north-west Poland and north-east Germany. Poms are generally extremely loyal with a perky nature that demands attention. As Poms have a thick double coat they should be groomed regularly to avoid knots. As they covert the attention this is not a difficult task even for a novice owner.
Coat:
A Pomeranian’s coat usually takes about one to two years to fully grow and become fluffy adult Pomeranian fur. As a Pom puppy matures, their puppy coats fall out, and their new fluffy adult coat will grow by the time your Pomeranian is 1-year-old.
Size:
Pomeranians are known as a Toy breed and should range between 20 to 30cm and weigh 2-3.5kg
Teacups:
are what tea is served in, not a size of dog. The size is often used by indiscriminate breeders to fool people into believing their pup is ultra-small. Often it is the weakest and least healthy of a litter.
Diet:
Pups in this store are fed a fresh meat and a quality dry kibble mixed a minimum 2 x day.
Exercise:
Poms are an energetic bred and will enjoy going for walks and playing ball, although they are an active breed they will also enjoy lots of time cuddling. They may become overweight if diet and exercise is not maintained
Personality:
These pups should be personality plus and should not be wary of strangers. They generally enjoy the company of other dogs and do well when socialised early.
Lifespan and health :
The expected lifespan of a Pomeranian should be between 13 and 15yrs. Patellar luxation is commonly found. Merle colours are also known to be carriers of blindness and deafness genes.
