Toy Poodle:

A highly intelligent breed that is responsive, perky and bright. Without the proper care Toy Poodles can become highly strung and timid. Generally recommended for families with older children, singles or older couples, these dogs have long been popular with people that have allergies. Grooming is a necessity to keep their coat at its best, regular clipping every 6 to 8 weeks is best.

Coat:

Poodle coats are naturally curly and generally coarse in texture. Unlike the fur of other dogs, the dense and curly poodle hair will continue to grow until it is clipped. It gives the impression of not shedding, however, the hair that does shed tangles in the curls as opposed to falling loose. 

Size: 

The FCI's breed standard states the Standard Poodle stands between 45 and 62 centimetres (18 and 24 in), the Medium Poodle between 35 and 45 centimetres (14 and 18 in), the Miniature Poodle between 28 and 35 centimetres (11 and 14 in) and the Toy Poodle 24 and 28 centimetres (9.4 and 11.0 in).

Teacups are what you drink tea from, not a size of dog. The size is often used by indiscriminate breeders to fool people into believing their pup is ultra-small. Often it is the weakest and least healthy of a litter.

Diet: 

Pups in this store are fed a fresh meat and a quality dry kibble mixed a minimum 2 x day.

Exercise: 

Poodles will enjoy going for walks and playing ball, they are an active breed but will also enjoy lots of time cuddling. They may become overweight if diet and exercise is not maintained.

Personality: 

These pups should be personality plus and should not be wary of strangers. They generally enjoy the company of other dogs and do well when socialised early.

Lifespan and health : 

The expected lifespan of a Poodle should be between 12 and 15yrs. The Poodle is a generally healthy breed but can suffer from Addisons disease, hip dysplasia and PRA.
